WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
WHAT WE EXPECT OF EVERYONE
DIRECTIONS & MAP

The Oregon coastal forest venue is located a little over two hours from Portland and Eugene, near the town of Tidewater, Oregon. Maps and driving directions will be provided closer to the event. We will be offering a shuttle service from Portland along with the purchase of your tickets (you may also purchase a shuttle pass seperately). More details about the shuttle will be available soon.

Be prepared to camp in the trees and meadows in a Northwest Coastal forest, away from the vehicle that you arrived in. Bring a tent, sleeping bag, clothing and be prepared to feel comfortable outdoors the entire time you are here. We will provide water for you to drink (bring your own containers) and there will be a variety of organic vegetarian food options for you to eat (bring money and reusable dishware).

Beloved is different. Please read the guide below; explore the essays about our intention, about our ecological ethics, about what this festival is, about devotion, about what sacred music means to us; and peruse the FAQs to understand how to prepare for a unique camping / festival experience.

PARKING
Parking is limited. We highly encourage carpooling, the shuttle, or ride sharing and will enforce a $10 "empty seat tax" for each vehicle with fewer than 3 passengers.

We are no longer selling car camping passes. All parking will be in an offsite lot several miles from the festival site. You will not be able to drive to your campsite. Frequent shuttles will transport you and your gear from the parking lot and will drop you near your campsite. Wheeled carts will be available to help you transport your gear to your camp from the shuttle stops. Please arrange your setup to make this comfortable (organize and pack your belongings, as opposed to leaving them loose in your trunk).

CAMPING
Camping for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is included in the ticket price. There is an additional $25 charge for Thursday Camping and arrival. There will be plenty of space in the grass and under the trees for your campsite (camping has been dramatically expanded from previous years. There is no vehicle camping space available on the festival grounds. We understand that camping near your vehicle, van or RV is makes a really nice setup easier, however, we are unable to offer that at this year's festival site. We do encourage you to come prepared to create your own sacred space away from any vehicles.

WATER
We hope to avoid the use of plastic water bottles. There will be none available for sale onsite. Please bring reusable drinking containers. We will provide clean drinking water stations throughout the festival site for you to fill your water containers.

The Oasis: Community Bathhouse will provide a sauna (bring one towel to sauna on and another to dry off with), showers and grooming station for a small fee.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Music, ceremony and workshops will begin on Thursday at 3pm and will continue until Sunday at midnight. Expect four full days and four nights overflowing with:

Sacred Music ~ Art ~ Workshops ~ Councils ~ Clear Intentions
Dancing ~ Prayers ~ Devotion ~ Kids ~ Yoga

Expect to be camping in the forest for 4 days and nights. There will be showers and hot water sinks to wash your hands and your body. Bring a tent and sleeping bag and be prepared to feel comfortable outdoors the entire time you are here... whether it is 90 degrees and sunny or if it is raining, cold and muddy. What is Beloved?

WHAT WE EXPECT OF EVERYONE
Come prepared to take responsibility for your own experience and for your impact on the land and the others present.

  • Please generate as little waste as possible
  • Let us strive to keep this event close to zero waste.
  • Sort all of your waste if you use our recycling/composting facilities
  • Adopt a leave-no-trace ethic; pack-it-in & pack-it-out.
  • Please no dogs and other pets.
  • Bring your own containers for water.
  • Bring reusable dish-ware and utensils for food.

Please renew your dedication to your regular practices, whatever they may be, before you come to the event. Make a special effort, at least for the month before you arrive, to engage in some personal cultivation work every day.

Please don't take yourself too seriously... Mostly likely no one will achieve complete enlightenment at the festival (but anything is possible). Let's just be present and have fun together and be open to eachother and whatever might come up.

Do your best to renounce your arrogance and allow the power of humility. Find ways to see the beloved in everyone you meet and see at the festival.
