Our inter-mystic MataForum is a discussion between representatives of different devotional, ecstatic paths to experience of the Divine. We aim to discover the unifying essence shared by all paths, while honoring the distinctiveness and story of each individually. May we open the way for people from all paths to work with, play with, pray with and evolve with groups composed of many individuals, traditions and faiths.

ABOUT LAST YEAR'S DISCUSSION TOPICS

LIfe is a Great Mystery.... no matter what path we find ourselves on. We appear to exist within an enormous and compelling dream, as explorers having experiences here on Earth, Spirit dipped in 3D. Many of us are aware of the Evolutionary winds blowing hard at our backs, or sometimes in our faces... What a time to be alive! We are blessed to be part of this quantum shift. We are here because we are choosing to celebrate an Emergent New Humanity thriving peacefully on a New Earth. We collectively share the opportunity to awaken within the dream.

The Beloved MetaForum is a Synergenius Gaialogue. Though the questions listed below will be addressed to a forum of Artists, Musicians and Teachers on the stage at Beloved Festival on Saturday afternoon, our intention is that they will support an enlightening dialogue that can begin with you reading this right now and spread throughout our group mind, culminating in the MetaForum.

2011 BELOVED MATAFORUM DISCUSSION TOPICS

In this epic time of the Great Turning, Evolutionary imperatives are screaming to get our attention--we need to expand our consciousness and change our habits personally and collectively.

1) What does Evolution mean to you? How does it translate into personal choices? What are the tools needed for humanity to survive and thrive? Can we evolve fast enough?


Traditionally, artists have been important cultural change agents~~exploring themes fearlessly, mirroring issues and lighting the way for the benefit of the society and world. In this time, many have become entertainers instead.

2) As artists, musicians and teachers, do you feel a responsibility to bring forth the strong messages needed to assist humanity evolve? In your work, at this time.....how do you bring awareness either to what is not working, or new directions for moving forward?


In the invocation for birthing a new culture, it is essential to dynamically evolve by reviewing and revisioning.

3) What do we value? What is important to keep intact? What must we all leave behind?


In the not so distant past, evolution was considered to be in opposition to Religion. During the past 20 years there has been interest in and openness to understanding the evolutionary dimension of Spirit. Teachers and inspirers such as Ken WIlbur, Andrew Cohen, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and Matthew Fox have been busy remixing their brand of religion adding an Evolutionary dimension to traditional spiritual paths.

4) From your perspective, is Spirituality Evolutionary? How do you feel Humanity is doing at this moment? Do you imagine that we will adapt and ascend or perish? Any predictions for the coming year?
